He won several prizes at the republic contests of young clarinetists.
Stevan enrolled the undergraduate studies of physics at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2004. He received the University prize for success during the undergraduate studies. After graduation he continued with the postgraduate studies at the same institution. He enrolled the PhD studies in 2011. and defended PhD thesis in 2014. He is affiliated with the same institution since 2010, firstly as junior research assistant, followed by research assistant. In 2015. he was appointed as assistant research professor.
In his research, Stevan applies computational molecular modeling techniques (ab initio and DFT calculations, molecular dynamics simulations, molecular docking) for investigation of structural, reactive, adsorption, transport and optoelectronic properties of various molecules, ionic liquids and nanostructures. He is especially interested for the buckybowl molecules and nanostructures with application in medicine.
So far Stevan published 74 papers in journals with significant values of impact factor. He is actively training Aikido in Tendoryu Aikido club „Seiunkan“ in Novi Sad. He is married with Sanja, with whom he has a son Philip.
